Benjamin Becenti "Story Teller" Concho Belt
Benjamin Becenti is quite famous for his "Story Teller" Conho Belts that depict traditional Navajo life. This one comes to us in Excellent condition. It really gleems! Becenti started making jewelry professionally in the 1970's and lived near Crownpoint New Mexico, where he was born in 1950. He is a son of Robert Becenti Sr. His relatives were involved in negotiating the treaty that allowed the Navajo to return to their lands after, "The great walk". I've had the pleasure to trade many of these wonderful Concho Belts and his Buckles over the years.
