1957 US Early Vietnam War - B-1 Unit - C Ration

Description

This can is part of the RCI (Ration, Combat, Individual) that preceded the much more commonly available MCI (Meal, Combat, Individual) of the Vietnam era.
The RCI consisted of 'B' (bread) units, 'M' (meat) units, a can of fruit, a can of dessert and accessory packs. Almost all of the 'M' units rusted and leaked out long ago, many times taking the other cans in the boxes along with them.
