    Description

    For sale is a 1970s era KODAK KODACHROME 64 STEEL SUITCASE with foam interior. The lithographic red and yellow graphics on the case is designed to resemble the design for the packaging for Kodachrome 35mm film. The surface of the case is in excellent condition with minimal wear. The suitcase has corner braces and rings for a carry strap. The case measures approximately 13 1/2 inches long, 9 7/8 inches tall, and 4 inches deep. A first rate collectible for anyone interested in photography or advertising.
    In 1935, Eastman Kodak introduced a color reversal film called Kodachrome. The film was one of the first successful color materials and was used for both cinematography and still photography. In 1974, the company started making Kodachrome 64 film for 35mm cameras. In 2009, the manufacture of Kodachrome was discontinued.
