Low Country Coins eBay Template1973 First Coinage of the British Virgin Islands Franklin Mint Specimen Set 2YFR
Up for sale is a Specimen Set of six coins produced for circulation throughout the British Virgin Islands. These coins were struck at the Franklin Mint. Included is the sterling silver coin. Please view photos and feel free to ask questions.
Let's discuss offers: If we have "make an offer enabled", please make a reasonable offer. We try to pay a fair price when we buy coins, so 30% off offers will be ignored. eBay makes more per coin when you buy it than I do. If we do not have that option enabled, please DO NOT email us about a lower price.
Let's discuss feedback: We are not perfect. When we make a mistake, we will admit to it and fix it. We respectfully request that you leave 5 star feed back to help maintain our seller fees low. Most people do not realize that 4 star seller ratings make seller's fees go up. Please consider that when leaving feedback.
We use barcodes to track all our items. This is the little 4 digit code, 2YFR, written on the holder.
Your item will ship in a white poly bubble mailer as shown:
Guaranteed Authentic
All our items are 100% Authentic and genuine. We have EXTENSIVE training in counterfeit coins/currency. There are an AMAZING amount of counterfeit coins out there. We intentionally purchased coins directly from China so that all our employees have them to reference to PREVENT buying them. These coins were used in an actual ANA counterfeit detection class, attended by all our purchasers. We have also won awards for our counterfeit display at coin shows.
Accurate Grading
Of course grading is subjective, it is simply an opinion. You know, everyone has one. We grade strictly in accordance with the ANA Grading Standard. Our Chief Grader, Bill, finished in the top of the ANA Summer Seminar Advanced Grading Class. This class was taught by senior 3rd Party Grading Company employees.

Payment -
Please pay as soon as you are done shopping. This helps get your order to you in a timely fashion without problems. If you do not pay, our software lets other people buy your item locally AND on other shopping sites. We do not mind if you need more time, just let us know so we can mark the item accordingly. Please contact us if you want to pay with an option besides PayPal for the same reasons.
•
Item Availability
-
Please note that we have a retail coin shop, an e-commerce site, and attend an average of two shows a month. Sometimes our inventory gets sold locally and we forget to remove it from eBay. If that happens, we will readily refund your money. We are literally a small mom and pop type business. Bill owns it and does the grading and business management. Bill's wife, April, manages the shop.
•
Postage
-
Most of our listings have free shipping. Please bear in mind that our postal charges include actual postage costs and packaging which is AT LEAST .76 per package. We do not ship internationally, as we had too many "lost packages".
•
Dispatch Times
-
We normally ship your order via First Class Mail the day after you pay. If your item is in one of our remote shops, there may be a 2 day delay to ship. Once your order has shipped, the tracking information will be automatically uploaded into your PayPal account. Your item will probably take 5 days for delivery. We ship thousands of coins a year, about 2% take up to 3-4 weeks. USPS will NOT update the item location in transit, do not expect them to. If the item is lost in the mail (this happens in less than 1% of shipments) we will refund your purchase price. We abide by the USPS definition for a lost item: "not delivered within 30 days of shipment".
•
Return Policy -
We really do not mind returns at all however administrative costs require us to impose a 10% restocking fee. We do NOT accept returns for certified coins, bullion or rolls of coins. VERY IMPORTANT: We ONLY accept returns on raw coins IF and ONLY IF the coin/currency has not been removed from the holder we shipped it in. If you do not love the item, I encourage you to return it.
Low Country Coins was established in 2006 by 2 US Navy Officers (now retired from active duty). Early on, we figured out that selling coins online would only work if you accurately represent your coins, offer them at a fair price, and provide excellent customer service. Now we are one of the largest online retailers of coins and currency in the US and the largest in SC.
Please feel free to ask questions we are always happy to answer.
