Description

This is an
INCREDIBLE
find- an
ORIGINAL
Converse push-pull floor toy
: the
CITY HALL PARK TROLLEY #175
. This was produced in 1901. Joshua Lionel Cowen bought the shells and they became the Lionel
"300 Series" Trolley cars
when he added his own mechanisms.
These became Lionel's first trains.
The car is essentially complete- it has the "cow-catcher" mechanism. ALL the seats are intact and can be flipped over for "reverse" direction. The throttles and brake mechanisms (with ratchets intact) at both ends are BOTH all original.
The route signs on the roof sides are reproductions f the originals. It appears there was a rudimentary pole on the roof at one time. Original wheels.
All the paint appears to be
ORIGINAL
, The trolley body is in very good condition with
NO
rust or damage.
Amazing that it still exists in this condition after 120 years!!
