Dominion of Canada, 25 cents fractional currency. January 2nd, 1900. This note has the scarcer of the three signers with J.C. Saunders as Deputy Minister of Finance. The obverse shows the dominant feature as the figure of Brittania with a trident and shield. The reverse shows fancy designs of scroll work, in green, and the denomination toward each end. The pictures show the note front and back with detail pictures of corners and edges to show the very nice condition of the note. Squared of corners, sharp edges, and nice sharp detail and color. One picture shows it being held at one end to demonstrate the crispness of the paper as it can still hold itself up. Tiniest indication of a slight crease at the upper left corner, when viewed from the back, in the unprinted area. And a tiny indication of a faint crease at the right edge, on the unprinted area, when viewed from the back.
