FABULOUS HUGE GEM GRADE BLUE KINGMAN TURQUOISE SILVER BELT BUCKLE 4"X 2.5

VINTAGE FIVE STONE HIGH GRADE BLUE GEM NATURAL KINGMAN TURQUOISE SET IN AN ARGENTAN BUCKLE MEASURING  4”L X 2.5”W.  Argentan is an alloy consisting of 60% Copper; 20% Nickel and 20% Zinc. It is not sterling. I purchased this piece in the 1970s when good high grade turquoise was still plentiful; and some native american artists set high grade turquoise in argentan in lieu of sterling silver settings. The turquoise cabochons are GEM GRADE stones.  The large center turquoise stone measures a substantial 1.5”L x 1 1/8”W.  the other four high grade turquoise stones  measure: top left stone” .75” x .50”; top right stone: .75”l x 5/8”W; bottom left stone .75”L x 3/8”W; bottom right stone 7/8”L x .50”W and are all in excellent natural high grade condition with no damage from my personal turquoise collection. The 4"Long x 2.5”Wide buckle is not signed.  This offering is for the turquoise belt buckle only; the black leather belt is not included.  This buckle will take up to a 2 1/8” belt.  Weighs: 139.5grtw.  Please browse my other unique and uncommon items.  I was going to have a jeweler take the gems out of the buckle and custom make me a pendant, cuff, earrings and ring from the five gorgeous stones in sterling silver settings; but the years passed and I never got around to it.  The value in this piece is in the high grade stones and priced accordingly.
