    Herbert Ration Native American Navajo Sterling Turquoise Multi Stone Bug Pin This is an adorable sterling silver pin designed by Navajo silversmith Herbert Ration. The pin features a bug motif with two turquoise stones (my educated guess is both the head and body are Royston) as well as coral, hematite, orange spiny oyster shell, carnelian, onyx and more accenting the eyes and legs. A pair of decoratively stamped wings complete the look. A wonderful conversation piece! The pin is stamped H. Ration STERLING on the back. Total weight is 16.03 grams or 0.57 ounces.
