    This is an extremely well-crafted Navajo (Arizona)
    Wrought Silver and Inlaid Onyx and Coral Modernistic
    bolo tie. The reticulated silverwork is beautifully executed. The tie was made by the famous, award-winning Navajo artist Richard Begay (1943-?) and is stamped with his hallmark initials "RB." The tie was probably made in the 1980s-90s. The strap is attached with an unmarked Bennett-style clasp typical of that era.
    The trapezoidal tie is
    2-3/8" in tall and 1-9/16" wide at the top
    . The original, unusual, sterling silver stamped
    tips are each 2-1/4" long
    . The "buttery-soft" four-ply black leather strap appears to be the original one and shows only slight wear.
