New Mexico based,Navajo Ronnie Willie makes Albuquerque his home..Known for his heavy gauge cuffs,with lots of crosses & beads of sterling,he extends his love for ARTS by being a sand painter,sand caster,Kachina carver,rock sculptor,wood carver,which most of these things he does more on the side,since he mainly focuses on silversmithing 5 out of 7 days a week..He makes his own stamps & other tools he uses in his jewelry,which give his work,it's own identity..He is considered one of the best in present day jewelry & its a guarantee you will be getting a piece of jewelry with only the finest,quality workmanship.

This is made of warm-beautiful colored-heavy 14 gauge copper,that is made in a 14 panel link style concho belt.What I love about link concho belts(as opposed to the leather type) is the fact that there's more versatility with link styles,since you can wear them anywhere you like on the body,as long as it is within the 49" length.Wear them tighter on the waist or low on the hips,it don't matter!As woman,we tend to lose & gain weight & with this style belt,their
adjust-ability
makes them a great style belt to own.This is made with a generous amount of copper & has some
SERIOUS
weight to it!!! It weighs

Each panel is completely covered with both hand tooled & repousse work,so there's not much bare copper showing.Designed with 3 'raised' repousse crosses & a total of 10 round designs per panel & has little crosses that fill in the empty space. If you look at the backside,you will see the repousse work which is not the easiest to do this precisely especially when your working with this gauge of metal. It takes a good eye,mathematical skills,good dexterity when the artist strikes through the metal.The design would be so totally off without these skills..It takes years to do this technique properly & this is a belt that will really make you appreciate Willie's workmanship even more,when you get it in hand.
The finishing is not heavily oxidized,nor is it super shiny & like any copper,it will patinate beautifully in time.It's a stunning belt that can be seen from a distance since it gleams in the light! It has the look of Santa Fe written all over it,but yet can be worn with your most simplest urban black dress to some ripped denim & cowgirl boots! Copper also looks great on a anyone with auburn colored hair or when you wear it with anything brown to copper metallic colored clothing!
