    Description

    Up for bids is an original early Vietnam War Era field gear group. Included are the following an M1956 pistol belt,1961 dated small arms ammunition pouch and an M1956 canteen cover and canteen. The belt is a large size, measures roughly 54" full length. I could not find any markings on the belt. The small arms ammunition pouch is in good condition.  The canteen cover is stamped US and marked on the back M-1956. The canteen is stamped "US S.M. CO. 1945". The canteen cap chain have come apart. The canteen cup is not marked. The canteen and cover are in decent used condition.  Overall a nice original grouping.  All of the items came together out of one estate.
