    Description

    Made by Navajo artist Melissa Yazzie, this bolo is a real show stopper. The stone is onyx inlaid with purple opalite and the contrast is dazzling. Purple Opalite has a shiny pearlescent white base with gorgeous patches of a vivid purple and lavender. Purple Opalite is also known as Tiffany Stone, Opalized Fluorite and Purple Opal. I know that Opalite is lab created and I believe it is by opalizing a fluorite which is already purple and green,. I have read different reports on how it is done. However I have included a picture of the fluorite in the raw.
    Finished with sterling tips.
    This bolo could be worn by a man or a woman. I have included pictures of both men and women wearing bolos.
