These postcards are almost all that we have left today to remember what once was Oklahoma City and its environs. In reality, these stiff paper pictures are social documents of our past. One can determine styles of clothing, architecture, landscape, decoration, transportation, amusement, communication, commerce, and industry just by looking at these postcards.
Volume I is by Jim Edwards and Hal Ottaway; 1983 Revised Edition. A total of 180 postcards are pictured and described all of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma during the first 50 years of the Twentieth century. Beautiful portrait of a bygone time. ISBN: 0910453004
