This card was purchased in Amsterdam, Netherlands, by my friend, Lotje. She scours all the great cities of Europe for unusual and beautiful vintage and antique postcards.  This postcard was shipped from The Netherlands to the USA by Lotje.
On the front of this unusual and lovely old postcard is an portrait of a gorgeous Samoyed dog.   Below the portrait is the artist's signature.  I had trouble reading the signature accurately...so I included the signature on pic 2 above.   On the back is a handwritten message in Dutch, an address in the Netherlands and a Netherlands stamp along with a 1953 postmark.
Measurements are approximately 3.5" x 5.5"
so this is a standard size postcard.  Aside from very few signs of surface wear as shown above,  this postcard is still easy to see and appreciate!
