US Navy USN Gentex APH-5 Helmet vintage "early push-button visor" Pilot Flight

You are bidding on a BEAUTIFUL U.S.N. APH-5 Helmet complete with the electronics and Hardman oxygen mask receivers.  Manufactured by General Textile Mills Inc (Gentex).  This is the early push-button visor which is not common at all.  The edgeroll is in great condition considering its age and is the very early tan color.  The liner is complete including the leather pads, which are in surprisingly good shape, but the earcups have deteriorated and could use replacing at some point....but it displays just fine as it is.  I am honestly not sure of the size but it appears to be either a medium or a large.  It fits a mannequin head without any problem.  The microphone is the M-6A/UR which is correct for this helmet.  These helmets were mostly used in the late 50's and 60's but were used into the Vietnam era.  This is a BEAUTIFUL example of an early APH series helmet with a fantastic reflective tape job.  Please look at the photo's before bidding and feel free to ask questions.  This is exactly what you are getting so if you need additional photo's please let me know.  Shipping anywhere in the United States will be .00 USPS Priority.  I also use the eBay Global Shipping for those bidders outside the United States.  Thanks for looking and best of luck.
