Up for Auction is a Vietnam Era US Army M1 Rifle Buttstock Cleaning Kit.  This kit is the general issue kit used during the Vietnam Era.  This kit is complete with all of the following items:
Canvas Case for storing cleaning rods
Four part cleaning rod
Cleaning Rod Handle/Combo Tool
Oiler
Bore Brush
Chamber Brush
This kit was stored in the buttstock compartment in the Rifle.
This would make a nice piece for all you collectors of WWII battle rifle such as the M1 Garand, M1 Carbine, M1903 Springfield, M1941 Johnson Rifle, M1917 Enfield Rifle, Etc.
