This is a very well made solid sterling silver overlay (layered solid sterling) buckle that was made and signed by well known Native American
Hopi artist Loren Phillips
(1954-2001 RIP).  It features a sun god motif.  The silverwork is of very high quality - please use the zoom feature to take a closer look.  The buckle is a bit tarnished but otherwise in excellent pre-owned condition with just a few very light surface scratches from previous ownership.  I leave polishing to the new owner if desired.  It is signed with the initials and symbol used by Loren Phillips and also has the
