Vintage Military War Wounds Case with Compartments, Medic Training Kit, Moulage

This vintage wooden suitcase is a U.S. military training case. It is the box for a moulage set or simulation kit. Moulage sets are used to apply mock injuries for the purpose of training emergency response teams and other medical and military personnel.
This wood case has 32 compartments inside to hold supplies for injuries such as atomic burns, trench foot, gunshot wounds and leg amputation. The names of the injuries to practice treating are stamped on a number of the compartments. The supplies are kept secure with elastic. There are brass caps on each corner of the box, a plastic handle, brass hinge, steel latches, and hard rubber feet on bottom.
The box is a soft black with just a tinge of olive in it with white letters.
I am unsure of the age. No earlier than the Vietnam War era; possibly Iraq War time period.
Use this medical military box as a prop or for storing crafts, figurines, or a rock collection. Turn it on its side and use it as a display cabinet. Fun storage in an Army themed little boy's bedroom or man cave.
It is in good vintage condition with signs of field training. It is beat up on one side with some holes. The other side looks good. There are scuffs and marks. The handle is missing a screw. It is missing two brass caps on bottom. The hinge and latches work properly. It is clean inside. Please use your zoom for a good look.
