Description
Offered today is a fine handmade vintage Navajo sterling silver turquoise bolo with brown leather cord, signed by the artist "DY" (possibly one of the Yazzie family but we could not identify with certainty).  Uniquely, this bolo tie also has turquoise tips, rather than the usual pointed sterling silver tips.
The bolo has been left with original patina. You can certainly polish it if you wish to.  The turquoise has fine dark natural matrix lines, and is set in a bezel with cable border, with an oxidized base, and more cable around the outside.
It measures 1 7/8" by 1 5/8" and the leather cord is about 21" doubled (so 42" in all if it were straight).  It's signed DY, and tests positive for sterling silver.  This Native American bolo tie is in excellent vintage condition.
