Vintage US Army Butt Pack 13"x9", fishing, bugout, era unknown, good condition

Description

Not sure what the name of this bag is, but it’s a nice size for holding gear. It might be a butt pack.
Approximately 13” wide x 6” deep x 9’5” high.
The large main compartment has an open pocket on the back wall, made by double fabric to create 2 more pockets.
There is no grab handle on the top and no ALICE clips anywhere on it. The straps on the back aren’t long enough to wear as a backpack, but they can be used to strap the bag onto other gear or a pack frame.
No sign it has been modified, nothing removed.
One side has a small pocket, and there is another one full width on the front, and both are closed by a button.
It has the U.S. stamp on the flap, and the bag has been personalized with the user’s name and there’s an address under the flap, all very faded, as is the canvas.
But the bag is also still very strong and intact, and the seams are holding firm.
There are stains on the bottom and inside, and a few nicks in the canvas. It has been washed, so it smells as fresh as clean vintage canvas does.
It’s ready for some adventures – aren’t we all!!
