Vintage Zuni D Edaakie Bolo Tie Bird on Branch Multi-Stone Inlay Sterling Silver
Details:
Superior quality-crafted & highly detailed multi-stone inlay shows a colorful bird perching on a pomegranate branch. Notice the details in the bird: wing & feathers are delineated on the black body, the face even has expression! The red pomegranate & lower portion of the bird provide bright accents to the design. Decorative tips are made of alloy metal.
Inlay stones all present, secure, & free of chips or cracks. Sterling background shows moderate fine polishing marks upon close inspection. Black braided leather cord, coordinating with the inlay colors, has minor wear.
D. Edaakie used expertly inlaid mother of pearl, abalone, jet, & coral to create a piece of great artistry & highlighting their technical prowess.
Reverse is stamped "D. EDAAKIE" but not otherwise marked. All silver tests as solid .925 sterling silver or higher, tie tips are not silver, they appear to be silver plated alloy. From large estate of avid Minnesota collector, see other pieces in our shop.
